@guess_mason @BadDayHatCoTenn And bc I am expressing an opinion and having criticism, I won’t? Y’all act like it’s impossible to criticize something and still be loyal to it.
The people most loyal to me in my life, are the ones who criticize me and expect more from me.
@volsdeep_@BadDayHatCoTenn Bc I have their tweet notifications on bc I love there products and he tweeted something dumb. Had to address it.
Lots of red flags going on. People really are ready to crown Jake Merklinger our savior and I believe we should be better than that.
@BadDayHatCoTenn Again. Don’t disagree with what you’re saying in part, but the fact of the matter is, you’re saying CJH get good-great QB with one side of your mouth, but talking about CJH’s QB’s missing throws with the other.
It’s not all his fault, but it’s all his responsibility.
@guess_mason @BadDayHatCoTenn 😂😂😂
Someone wasn’t around for the Matt Simms, Justin Worley, Nathan Peterman, Quinten Dormady, Jarrett Guarantano, etc. seasons and it shows!
@BadDayHatCoTenn Inherited Dillon Gabriel. Evaluated Joe Milton as > Hendon Hooker, two separate time. Chose Nico to be his prodigy and the kid bailed… helluva track record.
Not lost in the Iamaleava saga is that Tennessee AG sued the NCAA last year for “unlawful enforcement” and won (injunction granted) after his recruitment was scrutinized and he was on the cusp of being declared ineligible by the NCAA. A little more than a year later, he’s gone.
@jim_edick@jclaiborne311@JoshPateCFB Tennessee handled it as best they could.
Good “business” doesn’t hire “bad candidates” from the start. It’s embarrassing we put ourselves in this position at all and now are out the expected QB1 4 months prior to the season. Not ideal, even tho we handled it best we could.
@jclaiborne311@JoshPateCFB I just want more dudes with that dog in em like JJ. I want all of our programs to look more like baseball, not basketball tbh. Gimme the fiery dudes who play with a chip on their shoulder and wanna win.
Drew Gilbert, Jordan Beck, CMo, etc.
@jclaiborne311@JoshPateCFB Absolutely I commend him. He did the right thing.
Would you preferred this, or him just have recruited/developed a top talent that is loyal tho?
I’m just saying, CJH and UT comes away looking like the “better” party, but it’s still an embarrassing situation.
