Good call by @ScotGovernment in trying to keep #Erasmus exchange funding going. Scholarship in HE is an #international venture and during my career I have worked or studied in England, Ireland, Germany and the US and retain my @AvHStiftung links.
Given the changes to schools and exams across most of UK, I'm available for much of the next 4 weeks on @Tutorful at sensible rates for tuition in a range of subjects but with a particular focus on #Earth and #Environmental Sciences. Virtual field trips too!
One of my favourite courses starts on Thu 21 Jan, 4-6pm: Scotland's Volcanoes, a six week online course.

Image is some lovely magma chamber rocks on Isle of Rum. We explore volcanic rocks from Shetland to Arran and lots of places in between!
@TomChallands @2ndQuad It means we can have an "internal" and a "public" version of our data. With `pglogical`, any changes to data in the tables of the "internal" PostgreSQL are automatically (and instantly) applied to the tables in the "public" one. 1/2
@GraemeTLloyd Another lungfish fact for @GraemeTLloyd and every dipnoan fan out there. The first recorded breeding of lungfish in captivity was in 1935 in Glasgow. The heated a large metal tank with gas burners for Mr and Mrs Lepidosiren to get cosy https://t.co/CNFPL7pHNh
The lateral line mechanosensory organs in fish and
amphibians detect water movement and the environment. Learn how lateral line anatomy and position varies with a species’ ecology and behavior through Wnt signaling and local tissue interactions @_JSDB_ https://t.co/Tk9Kp4uvLG
1/2⌛️ Final Day - just 14 hours left to give 💥
In the final hours of our campaign, we are asking you to dig deep and help us in our final climb to £35,000 🧗 With just hours remaining, we need to raise £5,776 to hit our target.

@GraemeTLloyd I have a dream that there is still an extant northern hemisphere lungfish to be discovered. Perhaps they retreated to caves and there is a pale blind cave lungfish out there????
