Our crews executed this HDD intersect by simultaneously using a 100,000 lb rig and a 220,000 lb rig to pass through the site's gravelly ground conditions. This photo shows the drill bits meeting in the middle upon the completion of both pilot bores.

🌊 Au large de Cléder (Finistère), le navire câblier Calypso procède actuellement au déroulage des 98 km de câbles sous-marins, sur une longueur totale de 500 km.
À terme, le projet Celtic Interconnector reliera l’Irlande à la France, et plus largement à l’Europe continentale. Il soutiendra le développement d’un mix électrique décarboné et permettra une sécurité d'approvisionnement, ainsi qu'une solidarité en cas d'imprévu.

Reaching a total distance of 1,747 meters, this horizontal directional drilling project utilized gyro steering to precisely navigate a right-of-way corridor with an existing hotline. Our crews overcame this technical challenge — along with an entry angle of 26 degrees — to safety install a 12-inch product line beneath the Beatton River in Northeast B.C.
