Local quarry increased prices by 8% last Sept and are going up 12.5% in Jan. “due to further significant significant increases in raw materials, transport and energy prices. We are unable to absorb these increases” So they expect everyone else to absorb 😡

I’m always amazed at the view from our back door. Looking out over Clonlara, The river Shannon, County Limerick and Galty Mountains in the distance. A carpet of mature trees and hedges yet it’s all farm land. We have the best of both worlds in this country.

Hi suckler people. Have a 12 day old calf that lost his mother. Do think it’s possible to ever get him sucking a bottle? Trying him twice a day for last few days. No joy. Have a job to catch him every time so he’s still strong!!
