Corporate greed and elite interests have made wealth inequality as high as ever in the US. What I'm most concerned about with a Trump presidency is how it will continue to foment division and animosity against everyone but the system that got us here.

Resentment for women. Resentment for immigrants. Resentment for DEI, "wokeness," and any other proxy for Black people.

They want division. It makes the capitalist project-- one that concentrates wealth in the hands of just a few-- easier to maintain. It was built on that division and that's how it still thrives.

The only way the *people* can thrive is to resist those urges.
