It’s “From Fear to Success: Practical Public Speaking” class time again at UMaine. What do you do when there are no rooms available except for the chem lab and there’s no lectern? You adapt!
Excited to partner with the Island Institute in Rockland, ME to lead a custom “From Fear to Success: Practical Public Speaking” workshop! Grateful we're able to support a quick turnaround to make the sessions in Aug happen. Everyone has a story. Everyone has confidence.
@ZARA It’s not worth it. Tried to go through Zara_Care and your team couldn’t stop quoting your policy. We returned it late because 1. It was a gift and 30 days should have started at Xmas when they received it and 2. The gift receiver had been impacted temporarily by the LA fires.
@ZARA terrible customer service. Hiding behind 30 day return policy. Must account that it was a gift being returned (30 days from Xmas) and the recipient was impacted by LA fires. Time to go above and beyond and take care of your (former) customer.
@ZARA_Care My wife bought a jacket online in early December as a Xmas present for my daughter and given to her on Christmas. When she attempted to return it to a store in CA (we live in Maine) this week, she was told it’s too late. We’re looking for store credit. Who can we call?
@ZARA thanks for the terrible customer service. My daughter received a gift for Xmas and tried to return the item this week for store credit. You hid behind your policy without acknowledging she had some other things to worry about like LA wild fires. Will not recommend you
t’s that time of the season, again. No, not pumpkin spice. It’s UMaine Public Speaking class!!!!! Nothing makes me happier than watching people gain confidence in themselves! #publicspeaking#toastmasters#confidence@UMaine
What Would Your Career Be Like If You Weren't Afraid? by Bonnie Marcus, Forbes
"Fear of success. Even though you are ambitious and work hard to get ahead, your fear of success may lead you to unconsciously sabotage your aspirations." https://t.co/jjMiB8t68C
Always like these reminders why I love coaching. "Your advice has been incredibly helpful, and I feel much more confident about my career, especially grateful for your guidance on building my network & helping adjust my perspective on my skillset & what I’m capable of learning."
It’s May! It must be time for my bi-annual public speaking training for UMaine!!!! It’s like Christmas in May for me. Looking forward to teaching the class confidence!
