@DechampsAlan@normsworld@NoJetsTO Discussion on the future of the airport must focus on what is best for the city as a whole, not simply what is best for PortsToronto or the airlines. The first question to answer should be βWhat is the role of the airport?β.
@normsworld The first issue that must be addressed is to define the role of the airport and the role it plays in the context of other airports in the GTA.
@NoJetsTO There are registered zoning regulations in place now to ensure safe operations of the airport. Any development that complies with the regs is permitted from an aviation perspective.

@georgebell Bettman would put a team in Rubber Boot Arkansas before having one in Quebec or a second team in the GTA. His focus is expansion in the US not Canada.
@TheoMoudakis@TorontoStar No editorial could make the point as effectively as this cartoon. Is your blocking finger loosened up and ready to swing into action?
@HewittJSB Does your visit also include a stroll by the Cathedral? I was a choir boy there in the late β50s and have wonderful memories of that period in my life. I always walk by the church when I am in Ottawa.
@Billius27 Adding numbers to the peaks and most recent point adds to the utility of an already useful graph. For reference could you also label the low points? There is a dramatic increase between the low point in the summer and today.
