Pope Paul VI (General Audience of January 15, 1975): «Our ideal and vital Christian renewal cannot dispense with a rediscovery of our insertion into the mystical and social body of Christ, which is precisely the Catholic Church [ch’è appunto la Chiesa cattolica]».
Catholics, do you believe this:
“The jurisdictional power of the Roman Pontiff is both episcopal and immediate. Both clergy and faithful, of whatever rite and dignity, both singly and collectively, are bound to submit to this power by the duty of hierarchical subordination and true obedience, and this not only in matters concerning faith and morals, but also in those which regard the discipline and government of the Church throughout the world.”
I do. 🙏🏻
@NMantis7@TaylorRMarshall The things you named have nothing to do with the validity of the sacraments plus you seem to imply that salvation is de facto impossible attending Novus Ordo.
Every schismatic in history didn't intend to separate himself from the church. He just redefined what it meant to be a member, in opposition to how the competent authority defined it.
@beil_cathy@theoseihle@EricRSammons You need the living magisterium to interpretate Traditon. "Who decides with certitude? Two thousand years of Popes, Councils, Saints, and Doctors of the Church have already decided". What do they say about the Novus Ordo Mass? or about St. Joseph in the Canon?
@beil_cathy@theoseihle@EricRSammons The fact that something is not infallible doesn't mean you can discard it or act as you wish. Again, who decides with ceritude and for all the Church that something "hinder the transmission of the Faith"? The single faithful, according to his own conscience?
@TaylorRMarshall@TaylorRMarshall Is Fr Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (SSPX) a Sedevacantist?

⬆️ Is a statement from a former SSPX priest (I am unsure if he is with the FSSP now); I believe this is a Fr. Aaron Jackson
It’s impossible to read this, and not conclude that Leo XIV is a good man.
It’s up to him and God if he’ll be a great and holy pope.
But he’s a good man, and those trying to portray him as some kind of evildoer or monster sound absolutely insane to the average devout Catholic.
@TrCGroyper@OmarTrejoJara No. It merely reveals the chaos that has been released by creating uncanonical bishops without the approval of the Roman Pontiff.
Thirteen years ago, it was widely assumed that no future pope would dare return to the Apostolic Palace or Castel Gandolfo. Now that it has happened, some welcome it, others are indifferent—but scarcely a word of protest has been heard.
The alleged Secret of LaSalette that speaks of Rome losing the faith and becoming the seat of antichrist, and of the Church being in eclipse, is not the Secret that Melanie sent to Pius IX in 1851. It is a new version that appeared 27 years later, and which was immediately and repeatedly condemned by Rome.
The following link contains the original (1851) Secret of LaSalette as well as the documentation of Rome's response to it, and condemnation of it. Also included is a letter from Pope Pius X himself concerning a rebellious priest who, under the pretext of promoting Our Lady of LaSalette, rebelled against his bishop, disregarded his warnings and decrees, and refused to acknowledge his suspension that had been imposed on him.
