Israel has arrested two Palestinian women’s national team players, Natalie Abu Dayyeh & Rand Al Halawini. The Palestine FA described it as part of the systematic targeting of their athletes.
Will the same media who were concerned about Iran’s women footballers say anything now?
@InPlaceofStrife@HouseofCommons History counts for something. But too often it is allowed to override common sense. If we followed history we would still require someone to walk in front of a car waning a red flag. Women wouldn't have the vote and children would work 16 hour days for a pittance
BREAKING:
Israel just dropped bombs on an ambulance in Chour, South Lebanon — assassinating 2 paramedics.
Not fighters. Not a military base.
Just medics trying to save lives.
Israel has now killed over 135 paramedics in Lebanon in less than 3 months.
I remember when Zack Polanski RT'd a person criticising the Police's excessive use of force.
He was publicly condemned by the MET Chief as if he had committed a serious crime.
Nigel Farage incites riots, AGAIN, and we have complete silence.
360 Palestinian children are currently detained in Israeli facilities.
Of these, 160 have been sentenced. Another 90 are held under administrative detention, without charge or trial.
This reflects the continued arrest, interrogation, and detention of Palestinian children. It also shows the denial of their basic human rights.
These children face more than detention. They live with overcrowding, medical neglect, and the spread of infectious diseases, especially scabies.
They also face punishment, isolation, and other violations inside detention facilities.
The headline talks about Antisemitism fears.
Yet both people were criticising a genocidal Israeli Government.
This constant conflation of criticism of Jewish people with criticism of Israel makes me as a Jewish person feel less safe.
Such a dangerous decision by Labour.
🚨 Multiple Israeli strikes on, or next to, hospitals in southern Lebanon have killed people and injured scores of others, including dozens of healthcare workers. People and medical staff and facilities must be protected.

Labour’s Palantir scandal.
Emails appear to show Peter Mandelson using his position to arrange access to government ministers for Palantir - the US military tech company with access to NHS Data.
We demand to know what access was arranged, what meetings took place, and what was discussed?
Another investigation into Royal Mail failure to deliver post.
Previous ones approved higher prices, lower post delivery targets.
RM hasn't hit delivery target for 1st-class post since 2017, 2nd-class mail since 2020.
Another failed privatisation.
