@StevenIsserlis I agree, but maybe fair to play devil’s advocate for Brits who haven’t moved away: for most other nationalities (the Swiss being one of the exceptions) the choice of which foreign language to learn first is a no-brainer. For the Brits there isn’t one particularly obvious one, no?
