What we need is a 5 part BBC drama where Michael Sheen portrays a morally zealous accountant who’s been at the club since the Maine Road days and refuses to comply with the fixing, all starting with Mansour once refusing to shake his hand.
I built a game where you have to get Forest promoted from the Championship. #nffc
The only catch is you have to select a player for each position from only one season in our Championship era. Some seasons there's a good choice; some seasons not so much! The link to play is below 👇👇

There are also some decisions to make along the way to keep players happy. Do share your results, good or bad!
@plusEVbacker The whole Con Hill thing has become tedious beyond belief now, however given where Ascending and Burdett Road finished in the Ebor it must make Hendo and Buckers wonder if they’ve shot themselves in the foot being overly cautious.
Stupidly overreactive EFL week 1 takes that I will now anchor in my betting until further notice, even if presented with new contrary evidence:
- Oppose Leicester in any way you can
- Swansea are now data monsters (@nickgoff79 was right)
- Lankshear is the Championship’s Haaland
Simply geld all your 8-12f horses, pay Joseph O’Brien whatever he wants, accept your level is big pot handicaps, and this MIGHT work. No doubt what they’ll do instead is buy a load of dross, send them all to some English clod, then think they can lay up with Hendo and Mullins.

If you wanted to be really shrewd, Harry Derham would be a fantastic ‘cheaper’ landing spot for some 80 rated miler to mop up round tight 2m tracks (Wincanton, Newton Abbot, Stratford etc). Alternatively Paul Nichols looking fin need of ammo (🥁) if you want Grd2/3 runners.
@RacingPost Start in the Charlie Hall, then whether he wins that will determine whether he goes a yard between now and - spring handicap. IF he does win that, then they probably aim him at the GC (which he wouldn’t stay) via the King George. They already have Grey Dawning for the Ryanair.
@msmmcglau It’s a tough one isn’t it. You’ve got to protect the most vulnerable (without sounding really condescending), but also allow those who want to enough rope to do their dough in cold blood. Applying restrictions on a pro bettor for instance is draconian in my book.
Been reasonably impressed with Burnham so far (admittedly a very low bar), however lumping betting shops in with blatant money laundering fronts is way off. Yet another Labour position that shows how out of touch they are with “the ordinary man”, who they purport to represent.
Vape shops. Betting shops. Dodgy businesses.
If you look at your high street these days and think ‘who asked for this?’, you’re not alone.
I’m doing something about it. We’re giving local people and councils more control over what opens, and tougher powers to crack down on businesses that aren’t good for our communities.
For too long, Westminster has stood by while our high streets declined. That ends now.
