@jonnytheboy@Tesco Yes but this opinion is quite trivial when you factor into who is the more lethal road user which is invariably the 3 ton lorry. Your use of the proverbial does not apply here.
@AlfieVille@Tesco On the contrary, the delivery driver showed a far more insidious degree of arrogance. Although I’m guessing you’re chairman of the ‘cyclist is always wrong’ committee so this will all be lost on you.
@tony_croydon@Tesco Oh bore of. Anyway, the world needs grasses and teacher’s pets. It’s what keeps society from collapse. There’s obviously an agenda to this video - a start to calling out dangerous drivers and reporting them so they do not violate vulnerable road users.
@GamerSlugsy@Tesco If highlighting/reporting dangerous driving to make the roads safer for vulnerable road users makes me a grass then I’ll take that. You go about being a mute to society and live that unremarkable life.
@jonnytheboy@Tesco Well observed. Wonder what your observation would be for a collision between a vulnerable road user and a cyclist compared to that of a 3 ton delivery van? The van can cause serious harm, me very little - more harm would come to myself if anything. This invalidates your point.
@Nadir_Hedioued@Tesco Only trying to highlight dangerous driving and make the roads a safer place as a result - this video was a starting point. Too many people killed training on the roads on their bike by negligent drivers. But carry on with your idle and non-participant ways brother - I’ll do me.
@aka_willbodie@Tesco Yes you are correct I didn’t indicate in this case. The difference in severity of a cyclist colliding with a vulnerable road user compared to a 3 ton delivery van invalidates your point. Hence his manoeuvre was far more dangerous than my lack of signal.
@Tesco why does your driver registration PK20 VZG think it is appropriate to cut across a mini roundabout with cars approaching from the right? This type of driving could seriously endanger a vulnerable road user such as myself if approaching the roundabout from the right.

Other factors as to why there are more broken bones in the pro peloton nowadays that you failed to mention:
•More overall crashes.
•Larger pelotons.
•More races on a riders calendar.
•Modern style of racing for ex. the contest between sprint trains to position sprinter
Concern for today’s riders? I’m afraid this only shows concern for how out of touch you have become with the sport @SeanKellyCC
André Greipel, one of the most powerful riders in the pro peloton, on the list of broken bones to help support your agenda – seriously?
You’re only sparking a toxic debate here. I’ve already seen a cruel comment made towards a top domestic rider by another individual spurred on by your blog post.
It’s not that I don’t agree with you about the importance of strength and conditioning for injury prevention , it is just the vast majority of pros nowadays work super hard in this domain to improve their overall cycling attributes – they don’t just do an evening stretch.
