Iโm officially done with this place for the foreseeable future. Itโs not the platform I signed up to. Would be great to see some more of you over on Bluesky, which is fast becoming a great alternative. If not, all the best, Iโll miss you. It was good while it lasted.
Iโm going to keep sticking my head on here for now, but would really like a genuine alternative to this tacky and unpleasant place that Twitter has become to emerge. @bluesky seems to have potential, so Iโve signed up. This is me on there - look me up!

@nleng22@bluesky I would give Threads a go, but I think you still need a Facebook/Instagram account to sign up, which Iโve managed to avoid doing all these years!

Saw my enlarged shadow surrounded by a rainbow halo in the clouds on the way up Skiddaw this morning. Iโm reliably informed it was a rare optical phenomenon known as a Brocken spectre. Incredible.
Such sad news. As a cricket fan growing up in the 90s Thorpe was by far my favourite batsman to watch. The classiest English player of the era by some distance.
