Don’t tweet much, but just started in a new school teaching Edexcel IGCSE chemistry. No resources… don’t want to burn out straight away reinventing the wheel. Any tips for some good stuff? @Hookean1 @ChatChemistry #chatchemistry

@RogersHistory Oh and find a school that matches you, all schools have their problems. So find one you that matches you.

@RogersHistory Just 5 years in. Still very much enjoying it. My key tips would be:
1) Remember it’s just a job, protect your own health first.
2) Find out what’s important, so many things we can spend loads of time on that don’t actually help students or ourselves.

@MineEYMind As our credentials both outline we are experts in those fields. So without wanting trying to be condescending these questions would be avoided if you backed up your claims with credentials…

@MineEYMind And, again as I’m sure you know, asking for credentials within academia is entirely acceptable. I would not dream of trying to tell you about EY neuroscience as I’m sure you wouldn’t try and teach me about NMR.
