I watched the first leg and Boro should have blitzed Southampton. Was the spy's message to try to let Boro have a headstart? It's naughty and it should be punished, but kicking a team out of the playoffs after a two-legged game that went to extra time, by the way, is absurd.

If the EFL can prove that we gained that much of an advantage with stats and figures that “enhance” our performance, then fair enough there’s some case for expulsion. Yes there’s margins to be gained. 135 minutes on Tuesday and 90 odd on saturday, and they didn’t win.
