One of the most underrated life skills is being able to see something strange and simply move on #̢̛ͥ̀̽̽ͨ̌̓͆̇̀̽ͦͨͫͯ̏̎̇̈̚͜҉̕͢͏͡҉̸̶̛͢͡҉̵̨̭̳̘̹̫͔͖̜̠͖̫̲̖̱̤̻̖͉͢͞͡ͅͅ͏̸̷̢͑̊̀̐ͣͭͭ̉͂ͨ̽͒̊̎͛ͪ̊̎ͩͧ̀͝͠͠͏̸̵̵̷̵

A provocation: if this GLSL shader was one shoted with a skills.md that requests to impersonate me, and indeed does pull my work on shapes, lighting, animation and delivers my style, maths, techniques and conventions (to the variable name)... isn't this actually, MY brain's work?

Should I claim it as mine?

Claude only did the mechanical/easy part of immitating my usual moves to put this together.

i love watching people become more of who they already are. the friend who starts dressing differently. the quiet person who discovers their voice. the artist who stops asking permission. there's something sacred about witnessing somebody become less afraid of their own life.

> get no work done
lmao, Imagine being so fucking brain dead and so reliant on AI that when you can't use it you turn into a fucking intellectually lobotomised turnip, incapable of independent thought.

Honestly, there's already a lot of economic uncertainty in game dev already, and suddenly a magic "I can do your job" machine shows up.

A lot of the game devs I know personally who have "gotten mad" at AI are worried about how they're going to pay their mortgages.

I know people who have been out of work since last year, people whose contract backlogs are empty, people who see their companies halting hiring, people who are afraid they'll have to lay off their junior staff to stay competitive, and some new Uber drivers.

I don't know any of these supposedly "mad" devs who are angry that you can make a game now. But I do know a lot who have kids, families, obligations, and specialties whose futures look uncertain.

I'm struggling to believe anybody doesn't get that.

@AshConnell Instead of living in imaginary lala-land looking at benefits, acknowledge what is required to make this tech stack work in the first place: Theft. Taking training data without consent, credit or compensation. I simply don’t want stolen goods in my pipeline.

Fuck those who do.

Also if you feed my work into AI without my consent and proceed to label my work AI-generated, that is grounds for a lawsuit. Enough is enough!

Begging you people to please look at the lives of your age mates outside the country and understand what this people have taken from us.

Nothing about how we’re living is ok. Absolutely nothing. It is not language or culture or alliance to tribesmen that will save us.
