Australia is the lucky country. We are a democratic nation where everyone is equal, regardless of whether they are black, white, or of mixed heritage.

This weekend, you can go to the polls and participate in our great democracy by voting for the future you want for Australia.

I'll be voting 'No' to Albanese's Voice of Division, and I hope you will vote 'No' too.

Prime Minister Albanese and other Yes campaigners have said that if we vote 'No' to this risky, divisive Canberra Voice, we walk away from Aboriginals altogether.

I think this is so wrong.

What a true leader would say is that, no matter what the outcome this weekend, we will continue to strive for better health, education, housing, and overall well-being outcomes for all Australians, including our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

If Australian voters say 'No,' it will mean our nation has asked for those efforts to continue on a needs basis, not a race basis.

And that's the way it should be.

Vote 'No,' Australia.

31st August 2023 marks the two-year anniversary of my political arrest. I was put into solitary confinement for 22 days in Cell 22…for refusing to sign draconian bail conditions that were specifically designed to restrict my ability to speak freely.

I was blessed to be chosen to make this stand to highlight blatant injustice in a so-called democracy. Compliments to Daniel Andrews and Victoria Police for giving me a great story to springboard from.
