Enjoyed Rachel H Evans, Evolving in Monkey Town. Hits well the great problem of evangelicals, creating false fundamentals. We're good at it.

Rob Bell's book is a good read raising serious questions in interesting ways, challenging us to think clearly about God's goodness & wrath.

Went to hear Rob Bell about Love Wins. Fairly good discussion but he and Lisa Miller were mostly talking past each other-differ assumptions.

Reading/thinking for a sermon series-Getting Acquainted with Jesus. NTWright, TKeller, LTJohnson, Yancey, Benedict16...Most basic/important?

Just finished Tim Keller's new (Feb 22) book, King's Cross, on Jesus in the Gospel of Mark. Excellent. Simple enough, but deeply thoughtful.

Just entering the world of Tweet. After hundreds of too-long sermons 140 becomes a new magic number and happy master. Best wishes.
