I’m excited to announce that The University of Huddersfield has made a public commitment to achieve carbon neutrality.

This is nearly three years to the date after the University made a public commitment to divest from fossil fuels.

Today myself and other officers from across the Russell Group wrote to them to express our concerns over the No Detriment Policy statement they released week. We will keep fighting to ensure that students are treated fairly and we look forward to their reply #ForgottenStudents

It is now @HuddersfieldSU policy to push the University of Huddersfield to reinstate the No Detriment (Safety-Net) Policy.
