@WhiteHouse 84% of Americans (including me) support requiring Voter ID. That is NOT the same as saying that 84% of Americans want the SAVE Act. There's a sleight of hand going on here. Voter ID already is in the law, but mail in balloting and transgender bans are more controversial.

@WHLeavitt If it could be done legally with the stroke of a pen, sure. But these things are always complicated. I saw in one poll that like 80% of Americans favored voter ID, but only 60% supported the SAVE Act. Devil is always in the details. Get Dems on board instead of badmouthing GOPs
