Tom Stirling

Dad; geek; police. It does no harm to the romance of the sunset to know a little bit about it. Opinions are my own.

@willsmithyorks Get back here, we need you! 😂

[Tom Stirling @TomStirling]

@GC_Rail It certainly puts me off ever using a @GC_Rail service again in future.

No criticism at all of whoever’s answering the tweets, it’s not your fault and you told me what I needed to do - but it really is a very poor service, and I’d be grateful if you could pass this feedback on.

[Tom Stirling @TomStirling]

@GC_Rail I see the 16.48 from London to York today has been cancelled. I assume I can get on the 16.00 LNER instead, right?

[Tom Stirling @TomStirling]

@GC_Rail Yes, understood.

I’m on the Avanti alternative, so at least I’m heading north, albeit to *the completely wrong side of the country*.

[Tom Stirling @TomStirling]

@GC_Rail I know this isn’t your fault personally, but it seems completely absurd that I have to travel from London to York via Manchester (!!) when there’s a perfectly good direct train which I can’t get because, essentially, it’s painted a different colour. Complete madness.

[Tom Stirling @TomStirling]

@GC_Rail OK, could you let me know the best way to get from London to York then please? (None of those services do that route)

@EveOnline Six launchers, two low slots, 50m3 of drones - definitely a Mamba
