@CoVet_81 Much of the oil and gas produced by methods such as fracking are lower grade. These are fairly new methods and most oil companies don’t have the ability to refine them in a way that’s profitable so they are exported. This is why economists say oil is priced globally!!!!

@CoVet_81 It was not meant to supply America with oil. It transports lower grade fuels which require heavier refinement that most US oil companies can’t do.

Most of the refined oil was then supposed to be exported to Latin America, Asia, and Europe.

@CoVet_81 There are two things directly affecting the cost of oil - Trump’s tariffs and his war on Iran. That’s on him. The Biden administration has no control over the war in Ukraine or the supply chain issues during Covid.

@CoVet_81 In spite of his rhetoric about green energy, the Biden administration approved a large number of oil permits that the oil companies didn’t use because the world was still shut down. The reserves were drained because oil companies were slow to increase production after Covid.

@SpeakerJohnson The amount of money anyone saved on taxes is dubious, especially for the middle and lower class. Whatever savings there were to be had were wiped out by Trump’s tariffs two months ago and his war in Iran will probably cost Americans ten times what they could have saved.
