I cannot make this reach everyone that I have hurt — but I entrust all to the Lord. Kyrie Eleison!
May the Lord and Our Lady be with me, a sinner!
Pope Benedict XVI had a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. He saw her as the model of faith because she believed God’s word and gave her life to Jesus. He taught Christians to trust her intercession and turn to her in prayer. He honored her at Marian feasts and placed his ministry in her care. Even late in life he prayed the Rosary and visited Marian shrines.

My newest long article on Substack — in homage to the great Pope St Pius X and _Pascendi Dominici Gregis_.
Published on the Birthday of Our Blessed Lady in honour of Our Lady of Fatima.
I reflect on the completion of modernism — neopaganism of our time.

My reflection on the motherhood of Our Lady and our filial obedience to her — in the sense that why we should always have recourse to her and let her help with everything:

With the Ave María, I walked through the important moments of her life on earth as recorded in the Gospels, with the hope of sharing my love to Our Lady but more importantly, her love to us.
CORRECTION: At some point during this debate thread I did something which is misleading: I claimed that “Laying on of Hands” is not a universal practice, which understood at face value is clearly false. The context was that I meant to say such practice ON WOMAN is not universal.
Our friend now is no longer arguing for ordained women deacons but only deaconess, though he did suggested the former not being forbidden.
CCC 1577 rules out deaconess ordained, so I do not see the point now since we seem to be in agreement. I apologise for any misunderstanding.

@Daniel_Propson@2Philosophical_ And now you ask me to show a “theological authority”? The same you who just cried about my having done so with the Authority of the Catholic Church? What another self-own.
1. What if all who go to Hell actually prefer eternal conscious torment to God? Fr Chad Ripperger said so about demons, what if humans who end up in Hell are just the same?
2. What if the authority that you seem to be unhappy with is actually of God Himself?
Best I’ve ever been able to tell, there’s no even remotely plausible or morally sane defense of eternal conscious torment other than that it has arguably been taught by those with the authority to pronounce upon such matters.
@Daniel_Propson@2Philosophical_ You do not seem to understand the nature of my argument from God and Church which is actually an argument based on evidence. I have said so repeatedly, and I will not continue to do so if you are so blind or lack of understanding.
@Daniel_Propson@2Philosophical_ Stop strawmanning me. I have shown already in previous comments that the rejection of God is an unending offence hence requires unending punishment.
@Daniel_Propson@2Philosophical_ And no — the affirmation of those authority all comes from independent historical or philosophical arguments. I have repeated this and I will not repeat it again if you just fail to see it.
@Daniel_Propson@2Philosophical_ Again you do not even understand what “bad” means. You confused “bad” from “undesirable” from the start hence you just repeat “me no likey” type of nonsense.

Justice satisfied. This is an undeniable good.
