Why are there people so incessantly and unnecessarily cruel about people who have done absolutely nothing to them, and don't deserve hate being spat at them, let alone cruel and horrible jokes being made about them? Ever heard the saying “if you can’t say something nice…
Idolizing a celebrity should be fun, not until you encounter people who make everything toxic. The moment admiration turns into unnecessary competition, constant negativity, and endless judgment, being a fan becomes exhausting. Sometimes, the hardest part of supporting a celebrity isn’t the industry itself, it’s dealing with people who can’t let others enjoy things peacefully.
I want to make a sincere apology for the mix up from my last tweet, I misread a thread and made the wrong assumption. Some of the tweets in the thread initially didn’t show up on my end, confusing me I ended up misjudging someone when I shouldn’t have.
I thought that they were referring to Tom being a creep when they were actually talking about Michael (Rosenbaum - which makes far more sense)! And I can absolutely understand people viewing Michael that way - he can be a bit of an ick at times.
@cameob96 Making an apology post. I feel so silly to have gotten it so wrong, but I wasn’t to know about those tweets being there when they initially didn’t show up on my end. Completely misread! Again, so sorry and thanks for clarifying.
@cameob96 Just went back to the thread and I see the whole thing now. I SWEAR those tweets never showed up when I originally read it. Must have been a glitch or something. Deepest apologies for making the completely wrong assumption. Again, I will delete the initial tweet.
@cameob96 I did read the thread. I didn’t see Michael’s name being mentioned. The whole thing was implied as if they were talking about Tom and what he said in that clip? Michael’s name was never mentioned as far as I saw/heard.
I’d like to make one point very clear when it comes to people making wild statements about how Tom apparently “never laughs or smiles with his wife as much as he does with Erica” which is a dumb assumption to make https://t.co/ypNzY7kTcl How can they possibly know?!
we’ve gotten to a point in our society where people think that bc they dislike a celebrity, it’s suddenly okay to say the most vile shit you’ve ever heard about them, to interact with snark pages that are filled with misogynistic and racist tweets that are amplified to the masses
Imagine hating someone so much that even their existence feels offensive to you. At that point, the problem isn’t them—it’s you. Some of you aren’t even fans, you’re just full-time critics. Don’t call yourself a fan when you clearly don’t act like one.
@CourtLamoreux@themenHQ It was a TV show, Lucifer. He was in S3. This was back in 2017. He played a Lieutenant, hence the "badge and gun”. You can easily tell that the photo is a BTS photo from a TV show. Also, Tom is NOT Dean Cain. I’ve seen some people mix them up which is CRAZY to me.
@QueenofNaboo24 Apparently they said it was just a joke and why can’t Tom’s fans like myself take a joke. Well, I don’t find it at all funny because it’s a terrible joke. I decided to block them ‘cause they’re toxic and not worth my time anymore.
@suchafvnnyway Actually, nope. This is a FAN account that I personally run. I am a real fan who respects Tom as a person and his work. I am just exposing those who disrespect and lie about him for no reason other than to be spiteful, hateful and nasty about someone they don’t truly know.
Haters be damned. Tom is a true and kind human being, who is just living his life and does not deserve to be slandered and mocked by immature idiots who think they are so above it all.
