@tomkXY@_karenmeadows@dieworkwear In the late 1870's my ancestors (Garrett Bro's) had a boot factory in Auckland (which was eventually lost due to predilections for slow horses and fast women according to family lore). For the mid 1800s, I'd suggest cobbler, or factory worker is more likely.
@FistOfAdonis @whitekiwigunman @MorseBart @actparty@_chloeswarbrick I believe that rents going down has about as good a chance as a snowball in hell. Maybe if we are lucky, it will only go up by CPI, but I doubt it...
@donnysp@DevAndyZ@JosiahHawthorne The number of likes on the reply vs. the original tweet. Ratio is normally called when the reply is significantly more likes than the original. In this case, there are about 10 times more likes on the reply than the original, which shows a 'ratio' of a small difference
@okanepeter@GlengarryJohn @politicalrod Must have been localised booing then. I was sitting by aisle 15 and no booing directed at them from our section, cause we never saw them, and the only booing was during Aussie kicks and especially loud at the ref for the yellow card
@brycekatz@Sheldon_Welders You can't see any clean metal. Even with a rusted saw blade, by the time the saw had passed through that much timber it'd probably have cleared a chunk of the teeth of some of the rust
@KaybsGaming@ShoshJourney @Ms_Stinger @actparty So, if the leading source of illegal firearms is legal firearms being illegally sold to unlicensed people or stolen from licenced people who didn't secure them sufficiently, surely the easiest solution is to reduce the total number of those in circulation?
@KaybsGaming @Ms_Stinger @actparty How do you propose we stop the criminal element from getting those guns then?
Cause removing them from circulation seems a pretty easy solution to me...
@fischer_scotty@SaffronOlive That's what my cube is - pre MH1 modern. The majority is designed around the main Modern decks of circa 2013 through 2017, with some 2018 and 2019 cards getting in.
I have a blast every time we draft it.
The carbon cycle has been close to equilibrium through the Holocene; we know this because we measure atmospheric CO2 concentrations in ice cores. But in the past few centuries CO2 has increased by 50%, and is now at the highest level in millions of years due to human emissions.
@Nic18111 @PierceSuzanne@black13830 Looks more like a falcon tube. But there's very low chance they let him hold anything of real scientific value for a photoshoot.
@rugga13@Sportsfreakconz Maybe if ABs tickets weren't so expensive, then they'd sell out. I'm going to the Wallabies game, but didn't go tonight because they're too expensive to justify two matches.
