"All I can say is that I wish Middlesbrough all the best, obviously I've had great times there. I've got a lot of friends there and I love to see the players doing well. They gave everything for me when I was there, the ones that were there, so to see them have success and end up in the Premier League, I would take a lot of pride in that." - Michael Carrick 👏❤️

"We have a massive chance to make Middlesbrough a Premier League club again. Every time I walk out as captain, I have to pinch myself. I'm a lad from Berwick Hills, this is everything I dreamed of. My end goal for this season is getting Middlesbrough promoted. We don't know the team, but if I do get to lead the team out as captain at Wembley, it's something I'd be immensely proud of." - Dael Fry 🥹❤️

Southampton's statement again... bloody hell. How can a club be so tone deaf 😂🙈
The audacity to end with 'the club will respond with humility, accountability...' having earlier again argued that a twice-found verdict for cheating is too harsh (a view widely shared, they think)
Imagine being Finn Azaz. You left Boro to go to saints because you thought you had a better chance of promotion. Beat your former club in playoffs only to be kicked out for cheating all season hahahahahah
Mocking Southampton fans in camouflage ghillie suits after their side was accused of spying on a Middlesbrough training session before the Sky Bet Championship Play Off Semi Final Second Leg match between Southampton and Middlesbrough (2026)
🔟 years since this unforgettable memory. @Boro and the club's fans will forever be in my heart. I hope history repeats itself in a few weeks and you get back to the Premier League. I wish you all the best.
We need a better back up here. He’s unable to move with the ball at his feet it’s sad to watch you can see the mental block when he gets it he’s scared to have the ball
Halfway through the second half, a song came up from the Millwall supporters, bellowed out across the pitch.
And incredibly, it was taken up by Boro’s hard-core ‘Red Faction’ and then spread all around the stadium until everyone was singing the same four words, over and over again.
Antipathy put aside, a moment of peace, unity and agreement: ‘Keir Starmer’s a wan-ker, Keir Starmer’s a wan-ker,’ they all sang together, the game momentarily forgotten. What a beautiful and moving experience.
