@LanceReisland Hey, just fun to have these conversations - does this almost seem like the wrong read though ? Seems like the flat defender is just waiting there to kill Quinshon
#Browns young core is pretty impressive:
RB Judkins 22.5
RB Sampson 21.7
WR Concepcion 21.6
WR Boston 22.4
WR Bond 22.2
TE Fannin 21.8
T Fano 21.5
ED Verse 25.5
ED Wright 25.7
ED McGuire 24.8
DT Graham 22.7
DT Hall 22.9
LB Schwesinger 23.3
S McNeil-Warren 22.3
Just need the QB
Keep in mind, during negotiations, and even after, Andrew Berry demands secrecy from his trade partners - see the Amari Cooper trade, trade down with Jacksonville in 2025 NFL Draft, Jerry Jeudy trade with Denver. They all came out of left field. #Browns
@PJStarlissimo We are going to agree to disagree. I’d throw the ball away and live to see 3rd and 5 in four down territory. The risk of interception on a true jack pot jump ball, fading away into the opposite side of the field for a 15 yard catch is too high for me.
@PJStarlissimo Why would you throw the ball away? So you have 3rd and 5. You don’t throw passes where the defense has an equal shot of coming down with the ball that’s dumb football. A one on one ball should be placed where only your guy can come down with it.
@PJStarlissimo If you throw the ball away you still have at least one chance at getting a first down, probably two based on where they were on the field and time left in the game.
The ball to Jeudy, given his size, and the angle of the throw, had maybe a 20% chance of coming down with that.
@LanceReisland Yeah, I guess my point was… maybe the fake could have been sold better , he’s open because the ball was caught 4 yards behind the LOS, so maybe the design could be better.
Yes ! it sounds like the practice operation has been great so far. Good to hear. Appreciate the response
Shoutout the Browns for doing right by their guy and making sure he’s still getting his checks and active insurance after a life threatening injury on the field … We know some teams, especially in the past, would’ve tried to find a way out of paying for a player that got hurt on their dime. Experiencing that first hand is why I appreciate the Browns for staying solid for Jeremiah. 💯🙏🏽
“Clone Wars” was excellent. I am surprised more people don’t talk about it. It’s an anthology series where each 3-4 episode arc is like a self-contained “Star Wars” movie, and a lot of them are better than any of the recent live-action theatrical films.
One of them was about a squad of clone troopers who are placed under the command of a Jedi who keeps sending soldiers on disastrous suicide missions, testing their loyalty. It ends with a fight between a bunch of the stormtroopers and the Jedi, but the Jedi is the bad guy, and he’s like something out of a horror movie.
Another arc is about a coven of dark-side witches who beef with the Sith Lords, and raise an army of voodoo zombies to fight against the battle droids.
And one is about a clone trooper who discovers that all the clone soldiers have been secretly implanted with inhibitor chips and tries to get evidence to show the Jedi, and it plays out like a 70s conspiracy thriller.
Great stuff. Amazing lightsaber battle sequences. Yoda goes on a vision quest to conquer death. Highly recommended.
@tha_buffalo Respectfully, and not an attempt to knock Shedeur, didn’t the Browns defense have 1 and possibly even 2 TDs this game ?
Kudos to the final drive, though. He did a fantastic job on that drive.
