@adamtomat @jeffrey_way Yeah that's a good assumption. If there are subtle differences an abstraction would be more expensive in my opinion.

@jeffrey_way I 100% agree with some folks in here though about just living with the duplication.

At this point for me it's become more of a gut feel, but my general rule of thumb is only abstracting after the third time.

Duplication is better than the wrong abstraction!

@jeffrey_way I would probably defer to a Service/Action injected into the controller.

Depending on the complexity, i might decide to mock out that Service in my tests and then test the service directly.

If it's something simple though, i'd likely just live with duplication in the tests.

Couple of weeks into my Neovim journey. Feeling pretty comfortable now. I'm honestly blown away at the speed compared to VSCode. Everything is just instant.

The transition has been pretty easy to be honest. I've been using vim on servers basically my whole career, so the keybinds etc are nothing new to me.

Initially i started off just using Vim emulation in VSCode before making the leap full time to neovim.
