I warned years ago that trying to go the "AI looks and will always look horrible and i can always tell!" was a bad idea, and even pro-AI people got angry at me fully convinced they could tell

Then i did this exact experiment myself, several times, and people could never tell. I always slipt a couple drawings from real artists and people insisted; again even pro-AI; that they could totally tell they were AI drawings, when they weren't AI drawings. The issues with AI were never "you can always tell" or "it looks bad", and if they were at some point it was obvious the tech would improve

Now there are more reasons than ever to hate on AI and many of the issues some of us warned about have become true, even more serious than we thought, but because bad arguments were made and some artists went psycho, now any attempt to talk about it gets predictably hit back with stuff like this that i never said but people will accuse me of saying anyways.

Essentially the story of my life with all the stuff; especially politics; i agree with people on principle but i cannot join them because the way they go about it is idiotic.

This is actually a good way to reinforce studies in your head, an issue I see with artists in my tier are aimless studies without reinforcement, if you don’t play and put it into practice it’ll go right out of your brain honestly so have fun and play
