@Naskomusic if i had to guess why it would be because the frequency isn't hitting the bin 'evenly' across the duration of the window, and it gets averaged out.
@ReubenYeah +1 - On top of this use case it also makes a great rubber ducky which saves a lot of distraction for others when something doesn't make sense until you verbally go through it.
@audioprogrammer Itβs a different kind of βhardβ. Cpp is hard because to be effective with it you need to understand how a computer handles memory. JS is hard because itβs a language with its own set of quirks. Dynamic typing and its implicit async-ness make it hard to reason about.
@JackSpectrasoul I quite like the step sequencer thingy in XO, it lets you throw a bunch of drums together with some simple pitch/env/tone controls and then you can drag out stems per channel straight to audio. I don't think it would be that useful for things that aren't drums though.
@JackSpectrasoul Yeah, but as always with these kinds of things your mileage may vary in terms of accuracy. I've ended up using XO but their demo is def worth a punt.
