@adic_9@NeurologistMom@ImmunoFever this is incredibly thoughtful and detailed, thank you! first, all of this is going straight into our to-do list. second, if you're interested, I'd love to hear more (email/zoom?) and especially around improving tracking!

@adic_9@NeurologistMom@ImmunoFever Guava is great although we focus on the insights, guidance, and tracking rather than on mostly data gathering. I wonder why you think it's more stable - any specific thoughts/feedback?
@brailemom I absolutely get your hesitation, especially when it comes to our kids' medical data. In fact, giving parents full control of the data was one of the first things we built. Maybe one day we'll get a chance to earn your trust and have you try it out!
When your child has a health condition, you become their medical care coordinator. It's a second job you never signed up for, received zero training for, but absolutely cannot fail at. And in between doctor visits, youโre mostly on your own ๐งต1/4
Today is a huge milestone for us at Vela Health!
We just launched our MVP to help parents navigate the daily complexities of pediatric chronic care. If you or someone you know is managing a child's health condition, I'd love for you try it out!

@NatalieGNichols@ImmunoFever Thank you @NatalieGNichols! Our plan is to start with IBD/IBS but quickly expand to other conditions.
We are also building many of the disease management capabilities to be helpful to any caregiver from day 1
@pdhsu@draparente@danamlewis Are you able to extract enough information from the images? I can imagine that simple foods could be identified most of the time but what about cooked meals? Diet is such an important piece of the puzzle for many chronic illnesses and probably the toughest one to track
I'm so proud of my husband @TomerTalVH for working so hard to help other families like ours get access to support through complex medical journeys. It's a hard road and patients and their caregivers deserve better.
@NeurologistMom@ImmunoFever Thank you so much! We've been thinking about it non-stop so had to build something for all of us. I'd love to connect and discuss more
