I swear America is getting more American and Europe more European.

At times you can spend an hour trying to buy a bottle of water in a touristy town and you wonder how nobody thought to sell that. Meanwhile in commerce land you’ve pointlessly got 17 aisles of sugar water

There’s also a restaurant next to us on Lake Como that’s closed for the summer holidays. It’s like one world craves money and one proudly rejects it . The middle would be nice

Occasionally I find myself looking at some sites too much and it’s been hard to totally give up on twitter, but incredibly easy with Instagram or LinkedIn

I always find land borders between countries fascinating.

You cross an arbitrary line by car / train / foot. And the climate is identical but the way everything looks is radically or slightly different.

Or you walk up a mountain and down the other side and everyone is speaking a whole new language
