What a lot of people will refuse to countenance is that for flying to become safe, unsafe flying had to be allowed first.

Weirder and weirder. Who gave David Lammy the fake contact in the first place?

The White House insists that this is nothing to do with Wiles' phone contact list being hacked last year - but the revelation that it was Lammy who had the number lends credence to the idea that he had a fake number as a result of the hack.

Senators, business leaders, and governors were contacted by someone pretending to be Wiles in the wake of the hack. The FBI is still investigating.

It is not beyond the realm of possibilty that one of the numbers in Wiles' contact book was Lammy's, that he was contacted by the hoaxer at some point last year, and that he has been thinking he had Wiles' number this whole time as a result of that - when in fact he did not.

@bswud I think this is quite an international thing. Britain is my default, but lots of Americans (and American minded people) say England because they’re most used to saying English (the language they speak).
