Watson not only had massive, unpunished scandal while his play crashed, he got an absurd contract.

Crazy how people are up in arms about Mike Vrabel’s scandal, yet everyone’s hush about Tyreek Hill beating his GF and son, Michael Vick killing dogs, Vontaze Burfict deliberately going out of his way to concuss his opponents, and Adrian Peterson calling child abuse “discipline”.
@MarkStopa Vick abused dogs, not people. Tiger cheated on his wife, he didn’t molest dozens of women. Kobe was accused by one woman, and dubiously so.
@MarkStopa Tiger Woods cheated on his wife. He was not accused of sexually assaulting 60 women. Michael Vick was truly remorseful and actually serve jail time. Kobe Bryant was one incident that there’s a lot of stories about what actually happened.
@MarkStopa Vick took like 10 years to be forgiven. And he did a shit-ton of outreach in addition to serving his time. Not even close to what Watson did and has done since.
I’d also like to add that Vick and Tiger went through ALL TYPES of public scrutiny. Their faces were literally everywhere in the news for a time. Especially when Vick got released from jail.
Throw Cosby is a serial predator. Woods loves pills and cheating on his wife. Vick did heinous shit but it wasn’t as bad as serial sexual assault. He also faced serious consequences. Even Kobe was arrested and charged. Watson made a quarter bill and faced no real punishment.
Public perception is interesting.
Michael Vick was forgiven.
Tiger Woods, forgiven.
Kobe Bryant, forgiven.
Deshaun Watson is universally loathed years later.
I’m not saying the response to Watson is wrong. It’s just … interesting … to note the disparities.

Watson was ass after his accusations. If he played well or even the same before the trade Browns fan wouldn’t boo him. He’s just been bad.

@MarkStopa You think Vick was forgiven so easily. It took 15 years for ppl to accept Vick they still protested Vick when he came back to the end of his career. Just cause Media stopped covering it doesn’t mean it wasn’t happening
