What do you think about a "villain" in sports and its impact to the media and image of the league. For an example a player like Dillion Brooks accepts and wants to be the "villain" in the NBA.

The most recent example of glorification in sports is the Travis kelce and taylor swift relationship the nfl uses this to boost their platform and make the chiefs the image of the NFL
@DGriff93901@col_trainor@curti_julie That is true it will be removing cheating or biases in sports but that will mean everything will be called, if there was ai as refs in football there could be a flag every play. The refs now miss some calls or let the players play. #srm3224#group2
@curti_julie Pure silliness. Human error is a huge factor in sports, humans are playing the game so humans should be umpiring the game. #srm3224#group2
@curti_julie@dr_marshmallow@jack7schultz I think all the VR headset stuff is weird and kind of silly, wearing a headset to feel like your courtside at game, in my opinion is nothing close to the actual thing.

I think Virtual and augmented reality has the potential to have the biggest impact on sports, the new technology coming out is insane and who's know what we can be able to do 10 years down the road. Umpire might not even be a thing in baseball anymore because ai usage.
@yuyahtun_@lefthandhunchoo I do agree with you but also is it really competing that much because of different demographics. Many people don't even watch sports, but everyone watches movies on Netflix or Hulu. #srm3224

I would say the number one factor that's keeping local sports radio alive is the specific audience that prefers radio. People like things that are familiar to them, older individuals who grew up listening to radio, still listen to radio
