@CycloneKamala What could this be?

[Dave Portnoy @stoolpresidente]

I will watch this till the end of time saying Cooks had total control of the ball when he hit the ground

[Andrew Downs @AndrewCDowns]

The slow drip of Cyclone players into the portal is cruel to the fans. There’s gotta be a better way.

[Brent Blum @brentblum]

First time ever Iowa State has won Football, Wrestling, Women’s Basketball and Men’s Basketball in same year! Appreciate you all! Cyclone State. 🌪️

@JoshPateCFB I know you’ve been pushing Campbell for the Penn State job. If you have any inside info based on that what are the realistic chances they actually hire him?

Milwaukee, wi

[Thomas Jacobs @TommyFootball2]

@khaal53 I did read that outside of the championship game and third place game. They will do their best not to have rematches of teams that played already.

[Thomas Jacobs @TommyFootball2]

@ThatRuopp @ChrisMWilliams I did

[Thomas Jacobs @TommyFootball2]

@ThatRuopp @ChrisMWilliams Shouldn’t have tweeted it. Still doesn’t mean it was a bad throw

[Thomas Jacobs @TommyFootball2]

@ChrisMWilliams I apologize for the timing of my response

[Thomas Jacobs @TommyFootball2]

@ksccyclone @ChrisMWilliams How am I miserable? I’m not rooting for anyone to get hurt. Just pointed out it was a bad throw. Timing of my response was not the best but what else did I do wrong?

[Cody Campbell @CodyC64]

The TV Networks (specifically Fox and ABC) are refusing to run this ad for @SavingCollSprts today during the games.

No good reason given as to why - just ignoring us or telling us to contact their attorneys. The General Council for one major network told me it was a “business decision”. This was AFTER we’d sent them a large wire to pay for the ads!

Why would the networks want to silence a legitimate debate around an issue that affects hundreds of thousands of kids and is existentially threatening to women’s sports and Olympic sports? What is the “business reason” that overrides the benefit and enjoyment that college sports provide to tens of millions of Americans?

What are they hiding??

If there was ever a question that money, control, and greed are being prioritized over student athletes, fans, and communities…Here you go!!

We all knew that the current situation in college sports seemed very slimy and was driven by people who couldn’t care less about the common good…. But we had no idea how bad it truly is!!

It’s become obvious…We have to drain the swamp that College Sports have become!!

This fight isn’t about me, and it certainly isn’t about TV ads - it’s much bigger. It’s about doing what is right and necessary to save a great American institution. I promise that I won’t stop fighting until we are successful in solving this problem, and I know I can count on many of you to join me!

This is amazing! Awesome job @CycloneFB

Legacy.

This fall, the Cyclones will wear a special decal on our helmets honoring the legacy of Alex Ernst.

Additionally, the Alex Ernst Legacy Scholarship has been established in our program, and awarded for the first time this fall.

[Thomas Jacobs @TommyFootball2]

In shock! Ernst was everything a cyclone should stand for. RIP

[Iowa State Football @CycloneFB]

It is with our deepest sympathies that we share the tragic loss of Alex Ernst, a valued & beloved member of the Cyclone Football Family.

Alex served in our program for nearly two decades and will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts are with Alex’s family, friends and all of those whose lives he touched.
