@TeamPokeColors Enterprise sales analyst here: Publishers have been using product segmentation forever. Release multiple variants, make one intentionally less desirable, and the premium version becomes even more valuable. Comic books figured this out years ago TCGs are just applying it!
@tmtfc206 It’s almost a perfect market system. Queue time screenshots, empty shelves, and FOMO become the advertising. The harder the product is to get, the more people want it, and every sold-out release builds hype for the next one.
@tmtfc206 Scalpers hoard product with the intent to resell, keeping Pokémon in a Schrödinger’s pack: simultaneously “too scarce” for collectors to find at retail and “overprinted” because so much sealed product is sitting in speculators’ hands.
I finally made it to WAFFLE HOUSE.
The staff are always friendly, and when I asked if they would sell me a menu, they sold me one for $5.
Next time, I’ll be back at 3 a.m. for fight time.

@FaisalPixel@Mo9Grey This is like saying “ In Pokémon their are players that don’t want to do online battle, so there shouldn’t be online battles”
They’re not useless just because you personally don’t want to interact with them.
