@DavidRBailleul I work in that sector locally. No need to believe me cos I'm just some random fucker on the internet like this aroundliv account and believing the bullshit you read on it would be naive and stupid. Want the real data? Ask the council for it. It won't match this. This is made up.
@yellowpupa It's made up. You want legit data, go straight to the source and not some rando crank twitter account. The real data you get sent will not match this.
@zziz91225989z A lot of assumptions there. He's gone after some pubs that were doing fine.Tryin to avoid them being turned into chain pubs...by turning them into chain pubs. He has enough. Time to lay off. What happens if sumthin goes wrong with his business as before? So many eggs in 1 basket
@13091993j@zziz91225989z Is it really a choice between no pubs or one guy having a monopoly? Who died and elected him the saviour? Plenty of cities manage not to have that. His places are basically Greene King on a local scale. It's a greedy land grab not some altruistic mission to save pubs or whatever
@zziz91225989z It's cos Liverpool used to have loads of varied, different pubs with their own vibe. Now he's making them all the same...same shit selection of beer, same crowd, same fuckin decor (taxidermy). Dom who now owns the Bridewell, The Swan, Denbigh Castle etc. does much better places
@Baddiel 1. I agree the scenes were awful but bragging chants about the number of children killed in Gaza can't be trivialised as "bad behaviour" any more than the racist chants of a far right riot can. Racist aggression ends up breeding more racist aggression.
@soozaphone Whenever disagreeing with someone I really struggle not to say, "You're wrong and you're a grotesquely ugly freak." Dangerous especially when in a work meeting.
@soozaphone Yes. Agree totally. Ex Machina is maybe the exception. Ending of Civil War was a bit odd. The younger character was a total blank page of a character.
