Emma MacLean and her partner were attacked by 7-10 middle eastern men she believes to be from Syria in Halifax. It seems she was beaten up for being a woman and being a lesbian. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable in Canada.

Whatever the numbers in our immigration system, if our country becomes less like Canada and more like undesirable parts of other countries, then our immigration policies are failures.

When criminals like this are caught and convicted there needs to be an interplay with Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada to find out how people like this were let into the country in the first place.

These kind of criminals need to be immediately deported, and there needs to be a database tracking this kind of crime and a subsequent modification of existing immigration policies.

The flood gates are open and all kinds of bad apples are flooding through.
