@jacobmoon@zoink@evanwallace Aw, any day I hear from Jake Moon is a good day. I still have an email draft in gmail about writing a childrens book with you. I've never been able to convince myself to delete it. :)
Whoa dang. $20 billion?! Congrats to @zoink and @evanwallace!
Sounds like lots of folks up in arms about this little announcement. My team is on XD, so I think we stand to gain more than we'll lose... but who knows. Acquisitions like this are tricky.
THREAD: This morning weβre announcing that @Figma has entered into an agreement to be acquired by @Adobe !

We shuffled some things around at work and formed a new team comprised of UX designers and Business Analysts (about 10 of us). We're meeting together for the first time (via Zoom) and I need a good icebreaker.
What do you suggest?

@beneggett@KileyG Kiley, I looked this up last year and spent a couple of weeks complaining about it. Layout shift is the worst! I still mis-click something weekly because of slow or oddly-timed page loads.

This is SO true. But be wise about which skills you choose to focus on. Becoming a Figma ninja, for example, might not be as valuable as developing the ability to run an interview, tell a story, or give feedback without offending. #softskills
@SkilledBy@sarahdoody I'm not above being my own first comment. π€ͺ My buddy, @jethrojones, shared this article with me several months ago. It has profoundly influenced the way I think about my career. Definitely worth a read: https://t.co/mKKTHaoYG4
@sarahdoody π I read your tweet and was like 'what?!' but then read the email you attached and had a good chuckle. I liked how "Business" was on a different line than Development in the signature line. π
