Short thread on events of 7 March 1991, when the 90,000 people of Brindisi woke up to find 25,000 Albanians roaming the streets of their town. For perspective, that's roughly equivalent to 25k people suddenly landing in Hastings (h/t @fcbaribrit for reminding me of this episode)>

@AquinasPols2 @Aquinaspolitics @Filmclubaquinas @AquinasMedia @TPM007 @aqmediabtec Alex wolff as Brian? Saoirse Ronan in the molly ringwald role? There’s a great Rewatchables podcast about breakfast club they really dig deep into it- I think it’s such a classic, love it right from the opening Bowie quote.

Mute as needed.

For @ElinorJosephine

[Institute of Gremlins 2 Studies @G2Institute]

Andy Warhol once expressed that he wished to "become a machine", to achieve immortality by embracing the serial & the reproducible. This is similar to the Gremlins understanding of subjectivity: individual experience is rendered obsolete in the face of rapid reproducibility.

[Charlotte Collins @charlotteemma92]

My first article for RIBAJ 😊

[TommyFilm @TommydFilms]

@NicholaGarde @nonfics @JackTII I’m wary of anything about him after his death but this genuinely looks good. She is brilliant and she speaks about him so well. You know how much I love documentary and I think for the first ever time I want a documentary which is completely biased. He was perfect after all.

[TommyFilm @TommydFilms]

@Aquinaspolitics Brilliant story that. King seems like a bit of a dude in real life.

[TommyFilm @TommydFilms]

Only just clocked that I get thanked in @bressonian brilliant RoboCop book! Made my night that has!

[TommyFilm @TommydFilms]
