@TheRedSpartan01 Depends on the object “magnitude” (the lower the brighter), the heart nebula is very faint, while Orion Nebula was visible even with a 1 minute photo, also long exposures targets are shot during multiple nights (I’ve seen some people doing 100 hours exposures lol)
@TheRedSpartan01 Actually it’s allways a good time, the problem is bad weather, city light pollution and the moon light, in winter you get certain constellations, in summer you get others, if you want to come to Italy you are welcome😂😂
@TheRedSpartan01 So the “problem” is not the equipment since you can also short with a normal camera, the problem is the exposure time to get as much light as possible, in fact you would be surprised to see how many huge cloud of space dust there are, just very faint
@TheRedSpartan01 This is a ~2k€ setup i’ve got, its incredible how much technology has advanced in the past years, this is a 360mm focal length telescope, so pretty wide.
These photos are 1-2 hours exposures, except the heart nebula (7.35 hours total).
