@piersmorgan Do we really want our government being selected by people with this little knowledge. Firstly the existing electorate should have a say and secondly before this happens our young people need a proper education in politics!

@piersmorgan Agree it is a terrible idea. Whilst there is a minority of 16-18 year olds engaged with politics the vast majority haven’t got a clue. A recent survey of Secondary School Students in Wales showed only 8% knew who the First Minister was and less than half knew who Kier Starmer is
