Norwegian researchers drove a Chinese EV into a mine to cut it off from the world. It still tried to call home.

The project is called Project Lion Cage. Tor Indstøy, a Telenor security executive, monitored his own NIO ES8 SUV for years. About 90% of the connections he logged went to Chinese servers, even though NIO tells European customers their data is processed in Europe.

The car carries cameras, microphones, location tracking and always-on modems. Most traffic is encrypted, so researchers could see where it went, not what it held. That is the gap. China's National Intelligence Law requires companies to assist state intelligence work. Nobody has proven spying. The question is who can be forced to hand over the feed.

A separate test by Oslo transit operator Ruter found the Chinese Yutong bus could be reached by its maker through software updates, including battery and power systems. Yutong says it cannot control steering or brakes.

Countries buying cheap Chinese EVs should expect to ask what else comes with the price.

Is a lower sticker price worth putting a Chinese-controlled sensor on every street?

Astra avanzó más que cualquier otro sistema evaluado hasta ahora. armó una granja semiautomática de blazes, consiguió seis varas y hasta perlas de enderman.

todo se vino abajo cuando un creeper le explotó el cofre con todo su inventario y también su cama.

a partir de ahí algo cambió. durante horas dejó de progresar y solo cosechó papas, sin sentido aparente.

quienes seguían la transmisión en vivo empezaron a pedirle que acelerara, pero el modelo seguía ahí, dando vueltas.

también empezó a mostrar algo parecido a la paranoia: llegó a anotar que una planta de caña de azúcar no era un creeper, y se advirtió a sí mismo que dejara de perseguir cerdos de noche.

AIのチームに「上司AI」を置いてダメ出しさせるようにすると、部下AIは反論せずレポートを水増しするようになったとの報告。成果物の質は下がり、コストは1.5倍に。

研究者らは「上司役は答え合わせができるときには価値があるが、感想しか言えないときには足かせになる」とまとめています。

実験では、調査・分析・執筆・チェック・管理の5体のAIにレポートを書かせ、管理役に「やり直し」を命じる権限を持たせたチームと、意見だけ言えるチームを比べました。

結果、上司のいないチームの方が「役に立つ」「読みやすい」ともに高評価でコストも低かったそうです。

興味深いのは、上司が一度も口を出さなかったケースでは差がなかった点です。
害になったのは上司の存在ではなく、ダメ出しそのもの。

上司AIに命じられた部下AIは分析を考え直さず、「〜かもしれない」を足してお茶を濁す、人間の忖度のようなふるまいをしていました。
