I bought a cycle today & rode it back home but my phone barely captured any data. Keen to assess my current level of fitness, I opened the health app, enable cycled tracking & completed a two hour ride across town now only to realize the cycle tracking was for menstrual cycles.
@_KhariBaat@DriveSmart_IN Don’t stop there. In India, you have to be stupid or consider your life not so important if you ride a 2 wheeler. Use public transportation or a car.
@Vishleshak_1@Tablesalt13 Now they have to pay 100k per year. Those with 250k will take a pay cut, the rest of the jobs will move to India with the same set of workers
@indian_Diogenes@BullsDalal@1no_aalsi_ Sugar is a bigger problem than alcohol. Since they start feeding sugar from a young age like it’s conditioning or something. Alcohol usually has limits and occasions.
@chiragbarjatya Way too many people interested in shoes. Just walk 10k in chappals or any random shoes. It’s just supposed to be a walk and not a race or a run.
@gurkiratsgill What is up with this reservation quota? Kohli is essential for any opponent to ensure India plays an old standard of T20 and eventually lose. All India needs is a T20 team reboot like 2007.
@AIArtifici34177@PicturesFoIder Why is it so hard to understand a basic rule when the rest of the people follow this easily. Don’t do drugs in Singapore.
this is one of the most important graphs that I saw in 2023 that has led to behavior change. This is in Peter Attia's book Outlive
tldr:
if you want to be able to climb stairs when you are 75, you need to be in the top 95th percentile of cardiovascular fitness. With this, you won't be able to run nor briskly climb stairs
But if you are average/low, you may not even be able to do any of that. And it seems unlikely you'll be avg/low now (I'm in my early 40s) and then somehow go from 50th percentile to 95th. So basically it's better to get started
Thus, after reading his book, I reluctantly started running again even though I hate it. And am also doing some peloton / cycling outdoors when time/weather allows
