…btw, I got a chance to spend an hour with your dad, back in 2003 on a Hatteras yacht before he spoke to our Brunswick (Mercury Marine) management team. Wonderful, grateful, and humble man: he even took off his shoes upon entering the Hatteras yacht, and a man (President) of his distinction didn’t need to do that. (PM John Major didn’t take his shoes off.) You can tell the character when people (media) aren’t looking; and I thought that story of your dad might touch you in some small way today.

@jimrome Jim, we got the same problem over here in Elkhart Lake. We always have to use A spray bottle of deer deferral, (from your local hardware store) on the plants and especially the hostas works well. Otherwise, our deers have a field day on our planted foliage.

Phil deserves all the loathsome shit that is coming his way, for sure.

That said, he suffers from multiple addictions including gambling, alcohol, and sex, that, left untreated, ultimately ends in one of three outcomes: recovery (forever), in jail, or dead. That’s not hyperbole. …The narcissism and grandiosity are just a few of his character defects that lay deeper. Trust that Amy and his family has given him the ultimatums and boundaries.
