One year since the tragic passing of Diogo Jota 😢
A truly special player who represented Liverpool with passion, heart, and pride.
Gone, but never forgotten. Forever in our hearts. Forever No. 20. ❤️
Our thoughts on this significant and poignant day, as always, are with all those affected by the tragedy at Hillsborough and we pause in memory of the 97 fans who will never be forgotten.
2025 was the year of triumph and tragedy at #LFC. A year that saw the club celebrate some of its greatest days with their fans and also one that, heartbreakingly, had them mourning together. Privileged to cover the good and the bad every step of the way. All the best for ‘26 🤝🔴
Today, as every day, we remember Diogo Jota on what would have been his 29th birthday.
All of our love, thoughts and prayers continue to be with his wife Rute, his children, parents and all of his family and friends, as well as those of his brother, Andre.
Forever in our hearts, forever our number 20 ❤️
“Let’s squeeze everything out of this season and have another thing to smile about when we look back in the future.”
Jürgen’s important message to you.
