Rediscovering Christ From Catholicism to Spiritual Warfare
It’s all about Christ. ✝️
Raised in many different churches, I drifted from faith. But in my darkest hour, I remembered the teachings. I prayed. I quoted Scripture. I prayed some more.
And God met me there. He’s always faithful—ready to help anyone who truly seeks Him.
It’s all about Christ. 🙏 I’m a Christian, not Catholic or Baptist just Christian 💪

Our dog Clara was vaccinated on a Saturday this March.
She developed a very large fluid-like mass at the injection site almost immediately. Vet said it was likely ‘just inflammation’.
Monday - could barely walk.
Tuesday - Prescribed pain killers and laser treatment.
Wednesday - collapsed, sped to emergency vet, died of heart failure minutes after arrival.

@litldov1@TaylorRMarshall@carbo_al Of course. Again, it seems that most people are fleeing to the TLM, at least initially. Those who stay or continue to frequent, develop a well deserved bias towards that liturgy and those communities.
Most people I’ve met at Latin Mass were not primarily attracted due to liturgy nor Latin. By and large they were repelled from very bad NO and found respite in TLM communities.
That being said, 99+% of people who attend TLM do ask themselves, why?
Why is this better than what we fled?
The answer is usually obvious but not simple.
Point being, although there is not a self-selection bias for liturgy, Latin, nor reverence for that matter, there becomes a bias after the fact.
This is true. Leo has not abrogated in any way. He has implicitly affirmed that a blessing like the one @JamesMartinSJ performed shortly after Francis published FS is totally inadmissible. He has affirmed that “there is no intention to legitimize anything, but rather to open one’s life to God, to ask for his help to live better, and also to invoke the Holy Spirit so that the values of the Gospel may be lived with greater faithfulness.”
Furthermore, FS will ultimately be rescinded by this pope or a future pope due to the language of “Unionibus personarum eiusdem sexus” which cannot, have never, and will never exist as a category due to the logical, material, spiritual impossibility of two people of the same sex “coupling”.
Yes it seems that the Holy Father is not abrogating but affirming much of FS.
That same-sex couples may be spontaneously blessed as long as the blessing cannot be perceived as having any association with liturgy or ritual, and with the couple who asks for a blessing understanding that “the blessing that descends from God upon [them]—recognizing themselves to be destitute and in need of his help—do not claim a legitimation of their own status, but who beg that all that is true, good, and humanly valid in their lives.”
And with the cleric’s understanding that “there is no intention to legitimize anything, but rather to open one’s life to God, to ask for his help to live better, and also to invoke the Holy Spirit so that the values of the Gospel may be lived with greater faithfulness.”
It seems that Leo is asking everyone, all, every sinner, even the German Bishops, even those struggling with same sex attraction, to repent and join the one true church, begging for our sinfulness to be restored in Christ Jesus.
This is all fine and well. Yes, God’s Justice is more important. Yes, freedom for the faithful to worship the one true God through the only true religion is more important. But it would be a comfort to Catholics if his holiness would also acknowledge that more souls go to Hell for sins of the flesh than for any other reason.
@ValerieAnne1970 Our Newfoundland died last week.
Undeniable vaccine induced death. 4 years old. 100% healthy. Never sick. No allergies.
12 hours after yearly vaccinations - injection site ballooned.
24 hours - Fever.
Day 2 - Prescribed anti inflammatories.
Day 4 - Collapse and heart failure.
@DSDOConnor@Catholicizm1@CatholicRob It’s the number one thing we should be focusing on.
Remember when Katie McGrady asked Pope Leo about his wordle strategy? Remember how he replied?
‘How can we focus on such trivial matters when @Catholicizm1 and @CatholicRob are leading souls astray?’
Obsession with influence and influence culture certainly are pathways into the abyss. Perhaps too, social media is a gateway drug for the lonely and opinionated.
Those Catholic “influencers” aka online Catholics, who are working out opinions on the internet or voicing their kerygmatic experiences online are not a problem and have led many to Christ.
