This is a great way of seeing young kids using technology while working in space groups! Hands on activities are meant to be engaging and this is a great way of doing this! #GVTech
While using technology in the classroom it is also important to know how to manage it. Some ways to help with this is your classroom setup, visually see screens or use a program like Go Guardian and, build in breaks where they put the technology away. #GVTech
We also worked on our student facing updates. This is a way for students to be able to still do work even if they are not in the classroom. I used Flipgrid as a way for my students to still be able to record and upload themselves doing their multiplication facts! #GVTech
Some examples of assistive technology in education are audio players and recorders that allow students to listen to the words while reading them or capture lectures and discussions. As well as timers that help students manage their time and stay on task! #GVTech

The highest level of technology integration is redefinition, this involves completely redefining learning tasks. Technology enables experiences that were previously impossible. Students can become creators, publishers, and global collaborators. #GVTech
During modification technology begins to transform learning experiences. Teachers modify tasks and activities to leverage technology’s capabilities. Students might collaborate on shared documents, engage in virtual simulations, or participate in online discussions. #GVTech
Augmentation is when technology still serves as a substitute, but with some functional improvements. This is by using digital tools to enhance student engagement, provide feedback, or allow for interactive quizzes. #GVTech
Substitution is where technology acts as a direct substitute for traditional tools without any functional change. For example, converting paper-based worksheets into digital PDFs or recording lectures as videos. #GVTech
We worked on our RLM (remote learning module) throughout the semester. This is a way of adapting our classroom to being online or having students do work outside the classroom! #GVTech
During class we looked at the 9 elements of digital citizenship! I took a look at element #3 which is digital communication. The definition is the electronic exchange of information. Some examples are cell phones, social networks, and texting! #GVTech
