Our 1nsider @andytallman asked about hand signals/communication. It sparked a fun convo (bc the Rams are good at scouting this stuff).

A defensive coverage, usually the initial hand signal, is the coverage. But within that coverage, there are an array of adjustments to the splits, personnel, alignments etc. Sometime each side will have their own specific adjustments, esp with all of the Split field stuff the Bills do. Then you will see those defenders additionally signaling on how to play what they are looking at on their side.

Bishop sets the coverage (CJGJ too) which is Quarters, then you see Bishop give another signal to Hamlin and IGB to play M2M (Lock). It can be a lot!
